Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is often credited with reviving Disney's Feature Animation division which had been in a huge downturn following several lackluster attempts like "The Black Cauldron." A large portion of that is due to the wonderful performances of the actors who did the voices. Kathleen Turner's Jessica saying "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way." became an instant classic. Charles Fleischer's portrayal of Roger was silly and scatterbrained, but charming and sweet as well.

Charles Fleischer as Roger RabbitCharles Fleischer was best known as a stand-up comic when he got the role of Roger Rabbit. That stacatto stutter "P-p-puh-puh-leeeease!" is instantly recognizable as Roger. Charles is working these days as a part-owner of a multi-media company in Southern California and as a writer for TV and movies. |
