The team of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera worked at MGM Studios
for many years, creating many memorable cartoons including the popular Tom and Jerry series.
Of course, they are best known because they created the first animated series for network television,
"Ruff and Ready", followed by many others, including "The Flinstones", and
"The Jetsons". I have
fond memories of watching Ruff and Ready with my sister on Saturday mornings. And then a few
years later, I was a devoted fan of Huckleberry Hound and that Smarter-Than-The-Average-Bear
named Yogi whose program came on just after dinner at 6:30. Here we have some wonderful images that emerged from the
work of these two pioneers of animation for television.
I'm just back from the D23 Expo in
Anaheim and rather than go through the torture of eBay, I've posted
lots of pins on our Disney
