We specialize in collectible Disney toys. Many
are new, but some of the older toys have been played with, or rather, they're like
the toys that you used to play with, so they come packed with a lot of memories.
These toys range in age from the 1930's to the late 1980's, and each one has a history.
Few things in this world bring as much joy to life as our toys, even long after we're supposed
to be grown-ups.
Tokyo Disneyland Pirates of the Carribean LEGOsTokyo Disneyland has some of the coolest Disney souvenirs on the
planet, and here's one of my favorites. Its a set of LEGO-like building blocks that
make a plastic model of a ship from Pirates of the Carribbean. The picture on the
back of the box shows several of these kits sitting on a map of the Magic Kingdom,
so you can obviously find more of these, but this one looks the best. The box is
sealed, so I can't say how big the ship is when you put it together, but I'd guess
its about the height of the box, that is, at least 8 inches tall. |
Sorcerer Mickey Magical Collection ToyFrom a wonderful series of small vinyl toys made by Tomy in Japan,
its Mickey Mouse as The Sorcerer's Apprentice from Fantasia. He's about 3-1/2 inches
tall and new in the original package. |
SEGA Pluto Vinyl Toy - JAPANFrom a wonderful series of small vinyl toys made by Sega in Japan,
its Mickey's best pal, Pluto the Pup. He's about 5 inches tall. These toys are prizes for
the various pinball and pachinko machinces in the Sega games arcades in Japan. They aren't
sold in stores. You have to win them! Pluto's cute as can be and new in the original
package. Just one! |
Mickey Mouse Mr. Machine-style Robot ToyHe's not steel, but he's real. Yes, you just can't help but think of that icon of the
1960's TV commercials for Ideal's Mr. Machine, when you see this see-through wind-up Mickey. He walks poorly
now, and his arms no longer move, but a quick trip to the toy hospital should put him right easily enough. We
believe he's from the late 1960's or early 1970's from the look of the face. |
Mickey Mouse Toy MarionetteHere we have a rare Mickey Mouse marionette. He has a cute little xylophone to play.
From our personal collection, this eminently collectible Disney toy measures about 5 inches high and is in excellent condition. |
Mickey Mouse Racing CarA cute little toy race car with our favorite mouse behind the wheel. This one just
tickles me for some reason. I think it's the expression on Mickey's face. From our personal collection, Mickey's Race Car toy is about
7 inches long and in very good condition. Looks about 15-20 years old. |
Dopey Toy Figure by MARX
Its Dopey from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, of course. He's a classic plastic toy figure
made by Marx in the late 1960's. Condition is fair to good. He's been played with a bit.
No major gouges, but some light scratches are apparent. This is another item from our
personal collection. |
Mickey Mouse Die-Cast Tin LizzieThis is one of a series of die-cast wind-up cars from Japan featuring Mickey Mouse. They
were made in the late 1980's through the early 1990's as best as we can tell from our contacts there. These
cars have an unusual method of locomotion. You press a lever on the side of the car to make it go. As you
can see, the details on this piece are awesome, right down to the rubber tires. And we're always attracted
to collectibles with a pie-eyed Mickey. |
Donald Duck Paint BookThis is a children's coloring book that shouts with the charm of the 1940's. In fact, it bears a 1942 copyright inside. The value is in the artwork, especially the cover art. The book is 13x11" and the cover has become detatched from the rest of the book. The book is intact and complete except for the visible cover damage as is evidenced in the graphic, making the overall condition from fair to good. |

Two 2nd Disneyana Convention Chocolate CoinsIt's pretty safe to say that you won't find these unusual collectibles every day. For the 2nd
Disneyana Convention held in Disneyland in September 1993, Disney created these chocolate coins
embossed on both sides with the convention logo and covered in gold foil. Some 15 years later,
we still have these in our kit and it seems overdue for a quick sale. So we're offering them
in sets of 2 so that you're likely to get at least one that's in very good to excellent condition.
By which you should understand that many of these are slightly flawed from being stored and moved
and stored. But they're still such a fun item, we couldn't resist. And you're right - they're
no longer edible. |
