Filmation Associates was an prolific producer of animated programs for children's television in the 1970's and 80's including series from classic newspaper comic strips like "Smokey Stover" and "Alley-Oop" that dated back to the 1930's all the way to contemporary TV shows like "Star Trek" in the 1960's. They were a bit imfamous for their use of limited animation and other cost-saving techniques, but that didn't matter to the kids watching their Saturday morning cartoons. They loved the characters and the simple, silly cartoon stories. We are pleased to offer several fine examples of Filmation animation cels for sale. These are original production cels that often include matching reproduction backgrounds.
