As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. The perfect choice for Big Mamma in "The Fox and the Hound", Pearl Bailey was a legendary pop and gospel singer who lit up the stage and television screen to the delight of millions of Americans. She started in Vaudeville, and continued to perform on stage, including tours for the USO during World War II, and then went on to movies starting in 1954's "Carmen Jones" and later, "Porgy and Bess". Ms. Bailey won a Tony Award for her work on Broadway in the title role in an all-black production of "Hello Dolly" in 1968. She passed away in 1990. This large collectible features Pearl Bailey's autograph on a 5x7" studio publicity photo inscribed, "All Love, Pearl Bailey" and includes a 7x9" picture of Big Mamma in a 12x20" mat.
