Disney Gremilns Lifesavers Magazine Ad
During World War II, Disney produced a lot of art for the government, including many training films for the troops. In one of those training films, they created a set of characters called "gremlins" based on a story by noted children's author Roald Dahl who was an RAF pilot. Gremlins were mischievous imps who would cause difficult problems in motors and guns. This magazine advertisement for Lifesavers candy from that era used gremlins in humorous poses. Undated, the page measures 10x14" and is in very good condition with some slight yellowing. It's a great cross-collectible piece of Disney art.
