Beginning with the Baby Boomers, Americans have grown up watching animated television
series, most of which appeared on Saturday mornings. I know I did. I'd be glued to the set from dawn
until noon. In the era of cable television channels devoted to children, animation has continued to
grow in popularity and sophistication. Given the fate of so many cels at Disney and Warner Bros., it's
a wonder so much of this art has survived. We're happy to be able to share some with you.

Children's Television Cels
I've just posted a set of framed Disneyland mini attraction posters from the Disney Gallery in Disneyland. These are from our personal collection that we no longer have wall space for following our recent move. You can buy them individually, but you'll get a real steal on the entire set. See Them Now! before someone breaks up the set!
Most Disney fans have a favorite character, and one of the things that makes each character special is the voice that is usually provided by a celbrity actor or actress. I've just created a special section of our site for our featured Voice Actor Autographs where we take the autograph of the voice actor and match it with some attractive art to create unique collectibles. In addition, each movie's page has a list of the main characters and the names of the actors who gave them their voice. Who Dat? Follow the link and find out!
I've been working hard lately to refresh the images on our site. The work is long overdue, but the good news is that it's given me the chance to photograph a lot of art that we've never shown online before. For example, I just added a new page of cels from Adventures in Dinosaur City and cels from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I've also added a lot of cels from independent productions like Allegro Non Troppo. You'll continue to see better images over the coming weeks, so if you can't get a good look now, please visit again soon!

Mr. Magoo 1001 Arabian Nights CelThis is an original production cel from the 1959 television special
"1001 Arabian Nights" featuring the near-sighted cartoon character, Mr. Magoo,
who was a staple of theatrical short subjects in the 1950s and was voiced by the late great actor
Jim Backus. Most people know Jim Backus best for his portrayal of Thurston Howell the
Third in the popular sitcom "Gilligan's Island", but he was an accomplished
film actor when he started doing the voice of the nearly blind tycoon Mr. Magoo. The
cel is 10x8" in a 14x17" studio-supplied mat that is inscribed "An original
drawing from UPA's 1001 Arabian Nights". The Mr. Magoo image is about 5" high. |
Pink Panther Production CelThis is an original production cel from the Pink Panther television series from
the late 1960's. The series was produced by legendary Warner Bros. animator Friz Freleng. This humorous cel

the late 1980's. The series was produced by Duck Soup Studios. The

Certificate of Authenticity. We bought it at an ASIFA convention where they
sold these cels to raise funds for the organization. |
IBM Commercial Clown CelThis is an original production cel from a 1980's vintage IBM commercial. The value here is
simply the wonderful image of the clown. The cel is 9x12" in a 12x16" mat. |
