A classic collectible, picture postcards are a great way
to see Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and the other Disney theme parks. We've been
fans of this collectible ephemera since 1991 and hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Like most
people, we considered them to be the highlight of our Disneyland photo collection because the
pictures they had were always so much better than the ones we took ourselves. I was shocked
at how few postcards were available in Disneyland during my last visit to the venerable theme park
in September, 2009. Where they used to have a postcard for all of the famous
attractions and landmarks in the park, there were only a few general cards in
the racks of the two or three kiosks I saw. It looks like Disney is not making
nearly as many postcards as they have in years past. We're pleased to present this modest
selection of collectible Disney postcards for sale to our fellow collectors.
For Disney collectors, the most popular postcards are from Disneyland. The
park has sold postcards since it opened in 1955, and they've only gotten better over the years. These
tiny treasures preserve memories of The Happiest Place on Earth with rich, vivid color photographs of
the attractions, characters, and people who are sharing the experience. We're happy to finally make

Walt Disney and Mickey Disneyland Postcard
This postcard is sometimes titled, "It All Started With A Mouse", the
famous tagline by Walt Disney. It shows Sleeping Beauty Castle in the background, with a crew
of walk-around characters from Disneyland. It measures 5-½x3-½ inches and is

Disneyland! You see 4 scenes in this attractive postcard, Sleeping Beauty

Disneyland Crossing The Rivers of America Postcard
A great scene of some folks crossing a bridge over the Rivers
of America in Disneyland. It measures 5-½x3-½ inches and is

Back in the early years of Disneyland, they would have live Indian
ceremonies like the one depicted in this postcard. It measures 5-½x3-½ inches and is

It's A Small World After All, and this postcard shows the
fascade of the famous attraction in Disneyland. It measures 5-½x3-½ inches and is

TWA Disneyland Moonliner Postcard
When Disneyland first opened, Walt solicited sponsors for the major
attractions, just like radio and television programs of the day had. Trans World Airlines
sponsored the Moonliner attraction in Tomorrowland and produced this promotional postcard.
It measures 3-½x5-½. The postcard is unused, but has a significant bend in the lower right-hand corner.
Upjohn Disneyland Pharmacy Postcard
When Disneyland first opened, Walt solicited sponsors for the major
attractions, just like radio and television programs of the day had. The Upjohn Company
sponsored the Upjohn Pharmacy on Main Street and produced this promotional postcard.
It measures 3-½x5-½. The postcard is unused, but has some edge wear.
Disneyland Star Tours Postcard
Here we have a 4x6" postcard showing a great image of a Star Tours Star-speeder
ride vehicle along with our robot guide, and our friends R2-D2 and C3-PO from Star
Wars. Long sold out and no longer available in Disneyland. Next stop - Tatooine
and the Moons of Endor!
One of four postcards released in Disneyland in 1998 to commemorate
the rennovation of Tomorrowland. It shows Mickey Mouse in a spacesuit, which was accompanied
by a series of bean bag plushes of the Fab Five in similar costumes. This postcard measures 4x6 inches and is

One of four postcards released in Disneyland in 1998 to commemorate
the rennovation of Tomorrowland. It shows Minnie Mouse in a spacesuit, which was accompanied
by a series of bean bag plushes of the Fab Five in similar costumes along with other

Disneyland 2nd Disney Villains Postcard
This fun postcard was issued in 1998 when Disneyland was rennovating the park,
including The Villains Shop. This card features Maleficent, Captain Hook, Jafar, Wicked Queen,
the Queen of Hearts, Chernabog, and Runaway Brain Mickey. It measures 5x7 inches and is
unused and in very good condition.
Disneyland Fantasmic! Postcard
This fun postcard was originally issued in 1992 when Fantasmic! first
opened in Disneyland. It remained in production for many years. It measures 5x7 inches and is
unused and in very good condition.
Disney Art Gallery Postcards
Since at least the early 1990's, Disney has produced several series of high quality
postcards featuring artwork from the animated features and the theme parks. These are stunningly
beautiful cards that are great collectibles just for the sake of the art, and yet they're some of the
