Fantasia Deluxe Video Boxed Set

This is the groundbreaking feature that Walt Disney wanted to use to bring animation from its infancy into the mainstream of filmmaking. Fantasia is a series of animation sequences set to some of the most famous classical music pieces of all time. The highlight for Disney fans is, of course, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," featuring Mickey Mouse. But all of Fantasia serves as a tribute to Walt's vision for the medium of animation.

In 1992, The Walt Disney Company released Fantasia on home video "for the last time." Well, they hadn't counted on Fantasia 2000 or the DVD revoltion, so they've limited their orignal promise to videocassette. This deluxe boxed set includes the digitally remastered version of Fantasia. It also includes a second video - "Fantasia- The Making of a Masterpiece," a framed commemorative lithograph of Mickey as The Sorcerer's Apprentice available only in this set, a certificate of authenticity, a 2-CD set of the digitally remastered soundtrack, and a 16-page full color Commemeorative Booklet. The Jungle Book Soundtrack Story

In 1990, Dove Audio Books published a series of audio cassettes based on the Disney animated classics. Instead of simply having someone read the story, these tapes include lots of the actual soundtrack dialogue from the movies, so you hear the characters speak as they did in the films. In addition, these cassettes include all of the songs from the films, so they're as much fun as they can be. They're perfect to have in the car to keep the kids amused. Its the next best thing to having a VCR in the car. This one is from the Disney feature The Jungle Book. Playing time is approximately 60 minutes. New and sealed.

Oliver & Co. Soundtrack CD

Its the soundtrack album for Disney's Oliver & Co., a retelling of the Charles Dickens' classic "Oliver Twist." This musical romp from the late 1980's was one of the lesser accomplishments of the studio as they attempted to revive the Feature Animation Department. It was a valliant effort featuring the pop artists Billy Joel, Bette Midler, and Huey Lewis (of Huey Lewis and The News). Note:This is a promotional CD with a cut-out, but it is sealed and mint.

Disneyland Haunted Mansion Soundtrack CD
