We hope to post lots of news and reviews as our efforts here grow. In the meantime, take a look at the following list of clubs, newsletters, and magazines that we think are worthwhile.

TOMART's series of price guides for vintage Disneyana are considered to be the best in the business. To keep up with this growing industry they've started this bi-monthly magazine dedicated to Disney collectibles. It's high-quality glossy stock gives extra quality to the illustrations. Every issue contains an update on the current market values for the Walt Disney Classics Collection, an overview of recent animation art auctions, special feature coverage of a single category of Disneyana, and a look at what's new. They also provide two to four pages each month to free classified ads for subscribers. This is the place to go for the latest news and market values. Click on the name above to visit their website. |
No other periodical has covered the history of Disneyland as thoroughly or as well. Almost all content and no ads, this magazine has started to include many full-color pages. Its back-issues are highly prized. Tell Jack and Leon we sent you. NOTE: E-Ticket has temporarily ceased publication due to the tragic death of
co-founder, Leon Janzen. We hope they resume soon. |

This is actually an auction house for a wide-range of collectibles from political memoribelia, through sports collectibles, and toys of all kinds. Your subscription to their catalog is an education. They manage to get a lot of really rare old Disney collectibles as well as contemporary stuff. I've yet to see one of their auctions where I wasn't salivating over two or three items. |

The National Fantasy Fan Club for Disneyana Enthusiasts is the largest organization of Disney collectors in the world with local chapters across the US. Their bi-annual conventions feature great speakers from the Disney Company and other exciting events. Their monthly newsletter is included in your $20.00 annual dues, but it'd be worth that much if that was all you got. In fact, for many members that is the reason they joined the Club. Seriously, an excellent source for news and infomation about Disney collectibles and other happenings in the Company. |

The U.S. main chapter of the International Animation Society. A fine organization to belong to whose newsletter is aimed at serious collectors and industry insiders. |
The San Francisco area has its own chapter. President Karl Cohen is a well-known author of the book "Forbidden Animation", whose works appear in many excellect newsletters and magazines. |
|
An excellent magazine geared to both the enthusiast and the industry insider. |
A tabloid that is about 90% ads, but worth looking at to find collectibles and events in your area. The editorial content is pretty good, as far as it goes, with lots of listings for collectors shows. |
|
Another tabloid like Todays Collector. This one caters to the collectibles dealer. |
A light magazine that's mostly advertising, but has excellent articles on finding, preserving, and authenticating autographs. |
