The world knows Walt Disney for his cartoons and animated features, but when he first started in Hollywood he made some short subjects called the "Alice Comedies" that featured a young girl who explored an animated world. Virginia Davis was the child actress who starred in these early silent black-and-white films in the 1920's. Ms. Davis autographed this 8x10 inch publicity photo for us at one of the Disney collectibles conventions we attended in the 1990's. It's in excellent condition and ready to be framed.
