During the 1940's and 50's when Disney was low on cash, they allowed their characters to be used in advertisements. This is a four-page section of a magazine from 1953 for Admiral appliances using characters from "Peter Pan" which promoted the movie as being in the theaters at the time. There's Pan, of course, along with some of the Indians and mermaids on the first page. Other characters appear on the third page of this material. It's a lesser known, but attractive piece of Disney history. |
