Mr. Magoo 1001 Arabian Nights Cel

This is an original production cel from the 1959 television special "1001 Arabian Nights" featuring the near-sighted cartoon character, Mr. Magoo, who was a staple of theatrical cartoons in the 1950's and 60's and was voiced by the late great actor Jim Backus. Most people know Jim Backus best for his portrayal of Thurston Howell the Third in the popular sitcom "Gilligan's Island", but he was an accomplished film actor when he started doing the voice of the nearly blind tycoon Mr. Magoo. The cel is 10x8" in a 14x17" studio-supplied mat that is inscribed "An original drawing from UPA's 1001 Arabian Nights". The Mr. Magoo image is about 5" high.
