Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Original production cel from Disney's "The Sword in the Stone", a retelling of the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and centers around young Arthur who is being prepared for his destiny on the throne by Merlin the wizard by Merlin turning "Wart" and himself into various critters. This simple but attractive cel shows a sweet image of Merlin who has transformed himself into a squirrel, which is mounted over a supplied background. The artwork has an 8x12" cel opening in 16x20" mat and is ready for framing.
