He was voiced by an amazing performer and comedy writer, Howard Morris, whose name might not be immediately familiar to you until we mention his most famous role as the hillbilly rascal Ernest T. Bass from "The Andy Griffith Show". Mr. Morris has performed in dozens of movies and television shows. He was also a writer and performer on the original "Your Show Of Shows" with Sid Ceasar and Immogene Coca. But Pooh fans will always love his portrayal of the industrious rodent with the amusing lisp.
