George Carlin was best known for his stand-up comedy. His career dates back to the 1960's. He regularly appeared on network television on shows like "The Ed Sullivan Show", "The Tonight Show", and "The Carol Burnett Show". When cable began to blossom in the 1980's, he made several concert shows for HBO. He also appeared in several movies. For Disney fans, his most memorable role was as the voice of Filmore in the Disney/Pixar movie "Cars". Apparently the producers thought The Hippy-Dippy Weatherman was the perfect choice for the car named after the famous San Francisco concert hall. And Mr. Carlin had a cameo in the Disney/Touchstone movie "Outrageous Fortune" starring Bette Midler and Shelly Long. Sadly, George passed away in 2008 before he could reprise that role for "Cars 2". My wife sent for his autograph in the early 1990s, and he sent her this autographed 8x10 inch photo inscribed, "Hi Maggie! George Carlin". The photo is in excellent condition and is a fine collectible. We're sorry, but this product is CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK We would be happy to notify you when this product becomes available again. Just
