Frank Thomas Autograph

We were fortunate enough to see Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston several times when they appeared at Disney collectibles conventions in the 1980's and 1990's. On one such occasion, several Disney Cast Members gave an informal performance as a reconstituted version of The Firehouse Five Dixieland jazz band, including Frank Thomas on the piano. My wife wrote a fan letter to Frank to which he responded with this hand-written letter dated May 22, 1989 on Disney Studio's Jungle Book letterhead. Included in this collectible package is the envelope he used and a photo of Frank playing the piano at the above-mentioned event. The letter is an exquisite example of the self-effacing and gracious personality that was Frank Thomas' hallmark.
