Disney fans love to read books about Walt Disney and
the history of The Walt Disney Studios. I admit to having a special passion about
this subject since I wrote by book about Walt, "Walt Disney: The FBI Files"
on the heels of the tabloid trash book "Hollywood's Dark Prince". But beyond the
many biographies about Walt, the Disney Company has been a prolific publisher.
Over the decades, hundreds of books have been written about Disney animation that capture
the essence of the Disney magic while showing us how those amazing feats were achieved.
These Disney books are from our personal collection. Most of them are in new or like
new condition.
We can ship books by insured Media Mail to save on costs. If you can wait a week or 10 days to receive your book, you can save a great deal on shipping if you let us ship by Media Mail. Just choose Parcel Post shipping and then enter "Please ship by Media Mail" in the Special Instructions box when you go through the checkout system. We will make sure that you are charged the correct amount for shipping no matter what our shopping cart system shows. Media Mail is only available for shipping within the US. We're sorry, but foreign customers must pay full shipping costs.

I've just posted a set of framed Disneyland mini attraction posters from the Disney Gallery in Disneyland. These are from our personal collection that we no longer have wall space for following our recent move. You can buy them individually, but you'll get a real steal on the entire set. See Them Now! before someone breaks up the set!
Most Disney fans have a favorite character, and one of the things that makes each character special is the voice that is usually provided by a celbrity actor or actress. I've just created a special section of our site for our featured Voice Actor Autographs where we take the autograph of the voice actor and match it with some attractive art to create unique collectibles. In addition, each movie's page has a list of the main characters and the names of the actors who gave them their voice. Who Dat? Follow the link and find out!
I've been working hard lately to refresh the images on our site. The work is long overdue, but the good news is that it's given me the chance to photograph a lot of art that we've never shown online before. For example, I just added a new page of cels from Adventures in Dinosaur City and cels from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I've also added a lot of cels from independent productions like Allegro Non Troppo. You'll continue to see better images over the coming weeks, so if you can't get a good look now, please visit again soon!

The Haunted Mansion: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies BookAuthor Jason Surrel has created a detailed history of Disney's Haunted
Mansion. This delicious paperbound book tells the story of how the
Disney Imagineers created the original Disneyland attraction and how
the Studio later turned the background legend into a movie starring
Eddie Murphy (a movie that was actually pretty decent, especially for
a Disney 'family' movie). Lots of fabulous pictures from the concept
art, through the movie production. 132 pages. Paperbound. |

The Nightmare Before ChristmasThis is ostensibly a children's book, but its also a perfect collectible for
Nightmare fans. It tells the story using the poetry from the movie script.

Bill Peet AutobiographyBill Peet earned his reputation as an author of children's books, but he also
spent several years with Disney - first as an artist working on features like
Cinderella, Dumbo, and Pinocchio, but most famously as one of the artists who
worked on the Donald Duck cartoons. His amusing autobiography gives us a
glimpse into how artists see the world, as well as giving Disney fans an
insider's tour of how they make the magic. 192 pages. Paperback. |

James and the Giant PeachDisney brought back the team that produced Nightmare Before
Christmas to produce this fantastic version of Roald Dahl's "James and
the Giant Peach." Its one of the most under-appreciated Disney films of
all time, and this book shows the artistry behind that fine effort. Its only
a few pages, but nicely done in an 9 x 11 inch hardcover. From our personal
collection, its in excellent condition. Just one! |
