Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a landmark achievement for
Walt Disney. It was the first feature-length cartoon ever made. When it was released back in 1937, most people thought audiences wouldn't
be willing to sit through a feature-length cartoon, but Walt proved them wrong. We present
these autographs of the people who gave their voices to the characters we all love so much.

Adriana Caselotti Autograph on Snow White Lobby CardThe casting of young Adriana Caselotti to be the voice of Snow
White was another case where the gods were smiling on Walt Disney. Barely 20 years old
at the time, she had a rich, crystal clear voice that matched the animated version of the
fairy tale princess Snow White to a tee. Beyond that, as a public person she was humble, enormously gracious,
and generous with fans for whom she often dressed up as her signature character. A true fairy tale
princess for us all to love, Adriana Caselotti passed away in January of 1997 at the age of 81. This piece is an authentic lobby card for the 50th Anniversary re-release of Snow White in theaters
in the UK. It's inscribed as Ms. Caselotti always signed collectible pieces, "Voice of
Snow White - Adriana Caselotti". The lobby card measures 8-1/2x10 inches and is mounted
in an 11x14 inch acid-free mat. |
Adriana Caselotti Autograph on 8x10 PhotoThis Adriana Caselotti autographed 8x10 black-and-white photo
is from our personal collection. It's inscribed as Ms. Caselotti always
autographed everything, "Voice of Snow White, Adriana Caselotti" Did you
know that Ms. Caselotti had a part in "The Wizard of Oz"? She was the
voice of Juliet singing with The Tin Man in the "If I Only Had A Heart"
sequence. It's the only movie role she performed other than Snow White. |
Adrianna Caselotti Snow White AutographThis Adrianna Caselotti Snow White Autograph is from our personal collection. It
features a 3x5 publicity card created by Ms. Caselotti inscribed, "Love to Margaret Ramirez,
Voice of Snow White, Adriana Caselotti" and includes a 8x10" picture of Snow White in a
12x16" mat. NOTE: The signature has faded, and is barely legible so we've priced
this piece accordingly. |
Billy Gilbert as Sneezy AutographBilly Gilbert was a Vaudeville comedian and character actor who appeared in over 100 movies. He is
probably best known by today's audiences for his roles in the Laurel and Hardy movie "The Music
Box" where he played the outraged husband, and in "His Girl Friday" with Cary Grant and
Rosalind Russell in which he played Joe Pettibone, the man from the governor's office who brings the reprieve for Earl Williams.
This piece features a 5x7" B&W photo of him alongside an 8x7" print of a model drawing
of Sneezy which has the reproduction signature of Ed Fourcher, who was the lead animator for Sneezy.
The photo of Mr. Gilbert is inscribed "To Bert, Best Wishes, Billy Gilbert", all in an
acid-free mat that measures 12x16" NOTE: There is some glare on the image here that
makes the photo of Billy appear faded. The photo is actually quite clear and distinct. |
