Disney's Hercules
Celebrity Character Voice Autographs

Disney's Hercules marked a return to light-hearted animation, following the more serious Pocahontas and Hunchback of Notre Dame. It was funny and heartwarming, like the popular Aladdin and Lion King. Hercules also featured the rock-gospel music of Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menkin, who revisited the genre he developed in doing the music for the 1980's remake of Little Shop of Horrors starring Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, and Bill Murray. These are the autographs of the celebrity voices for the characters of Hercules including Hercules, Phil, and the evil villain Hades. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Who Was The Voice?

Most Disney fans have a favorite character, and one of the things that makes each character special is the voice that is usually provided by a celbrity actor or actress. I've just created a special section of our site for our featured Voice Actor Autographs where we take the autograph of the voice actor and match it with some attractive art to create unique collectibles. In addition, each movie's page has a list of the main characters and the names of the actors who gave them their voice. Who Dat? Follow the link and find out!

Tate Donovan as Hercules Autograph

Tate Donovan brought a wonderful combination of bravado and self-effacing humor in his portrayal of our hero Hercules. Perhaps the best Disney Villain since Scar, James Woods was a truly nasty deity who was trying to destroy Hercules. Danny DeVito was a great sidekick as the Herc's training coach Phil. He was sassy and smart, and even managed to carry a tune. Fans know Danny as the slimy, wise-cracking Louie DePalma in the 1970's sitcom "Taxi", and his most recent role in the FX series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". The artwork measures 7x5" and is covered with a sheet of clear mylar for protection and to give it a nice gloss, over a 3x5" signature card in an 11x14" mat.
